About the Role

Are you a dynamic and detail-oriented professional with a passion for underwriting and client service? We’re looking for a versatile Underwriting & Administration Specialist to join our growing team in KZN. This pivotal role supports both our Commercial and Personal Lines departments and serves as a key backup to the Underwriting Manager and Senior Personal Lines Underwriter.

You’ll be at the heart of our operations, combining strong administrative skills with direct client engagement to ensure seamless service delivery and underwriting excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwriting & Administration: Execute underwriting and administrative functions across both commercial and personal lines portfolios.
• Binder Agreement Management: Handle amendments, renewals, and other binder-related tasks across multiple internal systems.
• CRM Oversight: Maintain and update client records within our CRM platform, ensuring data accuracy and supporting the underwriting team.
• Client Engagement: Communicate directly with clients, providing professional, clear, and confident service.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in underwriting and administration, ideally across both commercial and personal lines.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in navigating internal systems and CRM platforms and insurer systems.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a confident and engaging personality.

Qualifications

• NQF Level 4
• RE5 (Regulatory Examination 5)
• Applicable FAIS credits
